Headed into the final stretch...

Soooooo its been a while since I've last updated; things have been pretty draining, and by that, I mean I'm freakin' exhausted. Days have blurred into one long day. So many things going on with the knowledge that I need to be doing other things AKA schoolwork along the way has just really tired me out. We're coming up on the last leg of the trip here. Right now we're just outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee on the outskirts of Great Smokey Mountain National Park. It appears that we'll be in Pennsylvania by tomorrow night and with that, that means we'll be back in MA on the 15th. From that point I'll be able to catch up on some work, sort out all my footage and pictures, and finally be able to take a break. The thought of my own bed seems pretty amazing right now. I'm going to cut the short because I have some other work to do, but I'll give you a quick progress update before I head out:

  2. Wow Congrats on your advancements in this trip and I am sure a tremendous amount of work you have done. This is cool you did this and you'll have to let everyone know when and where we can see the finalized piece, I know I look forward to it. How long has it been exactly? Well welcome back to MA when you do return!

It's really hard to pinpoint the most interesting thing that I learned. I'd say one interesting thing would be that even though we, as American people, all live in the same country, culture varies dramatically from region to region. Based off of that, I feel like I belong somewhere in the southwest. People there are very open to anyone and arent afraid to speak their minds. They are also very hospitable and are more laid back about time and just living life in general. The "hustle and bustle" of the east coast life is gone and its just awesome haha. Plus the geography is amazing.

Its been just under 7 weeks, but it flew by. I really cant believe its practically over, but I've got to say, its going to be good to be home.

Whatever works for you guys should work for me...I'm really proud of what you accomplished and are accomplishing. We need to ponder an independent study for you as we move forward from this experience for you...

  5. Thats true, I've been throwing some thoughts around, and bounced a few of the Mikes as well. When we get together I'll see what you think of some of the ideas, and we can go from there. I'm really excited to be back, and I'm pretty pumped to get into this next semester. A lottt of thing will be coming together (hopefully)
